The Office of the Regulator of Oil and Gas Operations (OROGO) received a claim from the Department of Environment and Climate Change, GNWT (GNWT-ECC) for the funds held as proof of financial responsibility by the Regulator for OA-2018-003-SOG, the Operations Authorization for the maintenance and closure of the Cameron Hills Field in the South Slave region of the NWT.
The GNWT-ECC claim, supporting documentation, the Regulator’s conformity determinations with respect to the claim, and other correspondence can be found on OROGO’s Public Registry.
OROGO invites comments and recommendations related to this claim through the Online Review System until December 15, 2026.
Other parties may make a claim for the funds held as proof of financial responsibility for OA-2018-003-SOG before December 15, 2026. These claims will be considered at the same time as the GNWT-ECC claim.
