Guidelines and Interpretation Notes are issued by the Regulator under section 18 of the Oil and Gas Operations Act (OGOA). Since April 1, 2014, the following guidelines have been issued by the Regulator:

Under transitional provisions in OGOA, the Canada Energy Regulator’s information requirements, guidelines, and interpretation notes that were in effect on March 31, 2014, continue to apply until they are replaced or revoked by the Regulator:
