The Office of the Regulator of Oil and Gas Operations (OROGO) has signed an agreement to with the BC Oil and Gas Commission to join the FracFocus.ca website.

Fracfocus.ca provides the public with information about the composition of the hydraulic fracturing fluid used by oil and gas companies, along with other information on hydraulic fracturing, groundwater and surface water protection, and related oil and gas activities in Canada.

OROGO will request that companies conducting hydraulic fracturing operations agree to disclose the composition of the fluid they have used on the FracFocus.ca website.

Fracfocus is a project of the BC Oil and Gas Commission.
