Guidelines and Interpretation Notes are issued by the Regulator under section 18 of the Oil and Gas Operations Act (OGOA).  Since April 1, 2014, the following guidance has been issued by the Regulator:

Under transitional provisions in OGOA, the National Energy Board’s information requirements, guidelines and interpretation notes that were in effect on March 31, 2014 continue to apply until they are replaced or revoked by the Regulator:
